Only One Lord

Nations rise and fall
And rulers come and go
Like streams of water in God's hands
He chooses where they flow

Some will threaten harm
To make the world their own
But over all the King of Kings
He sits upon the throne

There's only one Lord
Only one King
Let all creation bow down and sing
There's only one Savior
The one who redeems
Let the forgiven
Stand up and sing
Stand up and sing

Self-proclaiming prophets
And saviors of mankind
Like guides without a source of light
The blind to lead the blind

Some will promise peace
To make the world their own
But only One can rescue me
Yes, there is One alone

Jesus, Creator
Sovereign He reigns
Jesus, my Savior
Only He saves

Jesus, Creator
Sovereign He reigns
Jesus, my Savior
Only He saves

Nothing Without Love

Some days I get caught up in the doing
Mundane things of my own choosing
But wait did He get to use me
Was it love, was it love that moved me

If I speak as angels, angels in the heavens
If I give my body, body to be burned
And if I have the simple faith, faith to move a mountain
But have not love
It's nothing without love

From now I've gotta follow His direction
Allow control of my affections
The sound of love, love it gently beckons
I must learn, I must learn this lesson

Let it be for love
With all of my devotion
Let it be for love
Deeper than the ocean

Jesus Christ crucified
You bled and died to save our lives
Giver of boundless love
Faithful One to You we run

Every knee will bow
Every tongue will shout
Jesus is the Lord
Jesus is the Lord
Every eye will see
The coming of the King
Jesus is the Lord

Son of man great I Am
Healing power is in Your hands
Risen One it is done
Sin and death are overcome
You’re worthy of worship You’re worthy of praise
You’re worthy of honor You’re worthy of thanks

You Made Us Alive

We were empty, broken vessels
Wandering far away from home
There was nothing left to live for
We were lost and all alone

Before we even knew to call on Your name
Oh Jesus, You came

You made us alive, You raised us on high
You're drawing us near, releasing our fears behind
You wiped away the guilt and shame
Through Your sacrifice
You have broken every chain
You've opened up our eyes
And made us alive
You made us alive

There've been days when we have stumbled
And there was no one else to blame
When the fire turned to embers
And we could not fan the flame

Before the darkness fell and clouded Your name
Oh Jesus, You came

You revealed where mercy was found
You set our feet on the solid ground

I Love Your Word

It's a worn and tattered treasured book
Just waiting by my bed
It's a love letter from a king
Who also calls me friend
It's a light that shines upon the path
To keep a young man pure
It's a beacon high upon a hill
To keep my way secure

I Love your word
Open my heart and let your voice be heard
Yes, I Love your word
Speak to me, my Lord, my God, my King
I Love Your word

It's an anchor holding firm and sure
Within a raging storm
The comfort to my hurting heart
When sympathies are worn
It's a cool and refreshing stream
To any weary soul
It's the bread that fills a hungry man
And keeps him always full

I love your word
Your perfect word
Every promise and decree
I love your word
Your perfect word
It's alive to set me free

Merciful Keeper

I lift up my eyes unto you Lord
You are my hope, You are my help
Comfort me in life’s difficult hours
Troubles are nothing for you

Creator of all great is Your power
Minds can’t conceive all that You are
So vast so beyond the mighty of earth
You are enthroned on high

Merciful Keeper
My rock, You are God
High over all things
You Reign, Lord of all
You hold us in Your hand
You will not sleep
Faithful in all things
Our help in time of need

Strength for the weak, hope for the lost
Help to endure, whatever the cost
Giver of peace in terrible hours
On you I cast every care

You formed me in love, you know all my thoughts
Know every fear, and all that I’m not
Great are Your works, my soul knows it well
Nothing can take me from You

God of all
You alone we praise
Maker of heaven and earth
Our help is in Your name

We Hope In The Lord

I wish that I could tie an easy bow
Around a package full of hope
And send it out to you today
I wish that I could bring
A big umbrella to your house
And lift it high and simply keep the rain away

But we have come to trust the One
Who sometimes paints with grey
And He can see the road ahead
Yes, He's been down this way 'cause

We hope in the Lord
And we dance in the rain
And we know that the Father
Will bring the sun again
Yes we hope in the Lord
And we dance in the rain
And we know that the Father
Will bring the sun
Bring the sun again

I wish that I could somehow take the wheel
Drive you safe and let you heal
Maybe rest for just a while
I wish that I could buy
A candle bright enough to show
The way ahead so you'd be ready for each mile

But we have come to trust the One
Who never leaves his own
So you can rest assured my friend
You'll never be alone, so

Peace does not come easy
When you're walking through the dark
But He has seen the valley
And He knows just where you are, so

He Knows

What would make a man go down a road that he would never choose, and
Why would he take a stand when so many say he's sure to lose
How could he bow his head and then step forward with such certainty
When all the world would try to make him compromise what he believes

And he's looking around at what others would have him see
And he's hearing all the crowd telling him what he should believe, but

He knows where he's going and he's not turning back, no
He holds to the way, the truth, the source of life
He's bound by mercy and grace
To live for the One he knows

What would it take to see a world with humble men upon their faces
When do we learn to leave behind the sin and simply run the race
How can we just go on pretending everything is just okay
When the glory of our God and all that matters to us is at stake

And where's the man who's ready for this test of faith, and
Where's the man who's willing now to just obey

He's pressing on to win the prize
And there will be no compromise

God Of The Storm

Crashing thunder shakes the floor
Little feet run to my door
Daddy, I’m scared and I need you
I hug her close, as we hear the rain
Tearing at the window pane
She trembles as a flash fills the room

See God's power light up the sky
I know He cares for us tonight

He’s God of the Storm
Lord of the rain
Though I may fear
His refuge remains
He’s God of the storm
His power displayed
Trials will come
I will trust Him the same
He’s God of the storm

Like thunder in my day it comes
The doctor’s words just leave me numb
With pounding heart I wonder what I’ll do
Doubts begin to cloud the way
Will I ever be the same
Father, I’m scared and I need you

Though I'm weak, and the storm rages on
I know, my God is strong

When thundering trials shake me
When troubles crash and rage
I will trust the master of the rain

That’s Why I Run To You

Lost along the way, pushed aside
Are the broken dreams of shattered lives
Wounded hearts and empty eyes
Is there more, more to this life

Jesus calls lay your burdens down
Pierce the darkness I can see you now

That's why I run to you
Holding on to what I know, what I know is true
That's why I run to you
You heal the pain
You keep me safe
That's why I run to you

Safe at home in a sacred place
A treasured child, an heir of grace
Mended hearts and laughing eyes
Jesus more, more to this life

Save me now from these binding chains
Freedom found in your warm embrace

You know how to rescue me from every trial
You say that you'll lead me through the weary mile

Oh Worship The King

O worship the King all glorious above
And gratefully sing God’s power and His love
Our Shield and Defender the Ancient of Days
Pavilioned in splendor and girded with praise

O tell of His might O sing of His grace
Whose robe is the light whose canopy space
His chariots of wrath the deep thunderclouds form
And dark is His path on the wings of the storm

Thy bountiful care what tongue can recite
It breathes in the air it shines in the light
It streams from the hills it descends to the plain
And sweetly distills in the dew and the rain

Frail children of dust and feeble as frail
In Thee do we trust nor find Thee to fail
Thy mercies how tender how firm to the end
Our Maker Defender Redeemer and Friend
