FAVORITE PASSAGE FROM THE BIBLE

Psalms 17:15

“As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness.”

Ephesians 1&2

“…that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places…”

“God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus…”

“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”

MIKAH ON MIKAH

Have you ever attempted to write your own bio? It’s an unusual task. I assume the point of this whole thing is to let you know something about myself that you may not already know. So here goes…

Whenever I pass by a mountain, I have a strong desire to climb to the top of it. I love order and structure, and I think that’s why I majored in mathematics in college. I enjoy helping someone understand a new concept, which is why I also have a teaching degree. I grew up in a home where both music and athletics were encouraged, so as long as I can remember, I’ve loved playing piano and football. C.S. Lewis is my favorite author. (I really do enjoy italian food.) I find great pleasure in observing the creativity of God’s handiwork, especially the vibrant display of a sunset. I tend to be introverted, and I find solace in quietness. My wife enjoys being around people, so we balance each other well, and now I love being in large social gatherings :-). Speaking of my wife, she is a rare treasure, and I love her very much. I grew up in Alaska: the land of endless winter. One of the ways our family coped with that reality was through popcorn. We would fill up a brown grocery bag with freshly popped corn, and spend time together playing games while eating popcorn out of recycled cool whip bowls. I plan to carry on the tradition. That’s all I can think of at the moment. Thanks for checking out our website. Drop us a line anytime.
